Path Network

TriTAG believes that a coherent network of off-road pedestrian/cycling paths and links is beneficial to the community. It allows for routes that are more direct, scenic, and uninterrupted than the road network allows.

Paths should be paved and maintained to facilitate their use in various weather conditions — they are for transportation, not just recreation. Inconsistency of surface type and quality, especially in the wetter seasons, does not promote walking and cycling as a reliable mode of transportation.

Existing paths frequently lack connections between each other, and many of the current connections are difficult to navigate.
